Participation in the ACC offers a multitude of benefits beyond musical growth. Singing in a chorus allows children to connect with like-minded peers, fostering lasting friendships and a strong sense of community. Rehearsals and performances throughout the year also instill valuable teamwork and responsibility in young singers. The ACC even provides opportunities to give back to the community through their performances.

The ACC prides itself on being a diverse and inclusive group where children can enjoy singing without judgment or competition. Weekly rehearsals are held in Arlington for children from 2nd grade (with a music teacher's recommendation) through 12th grade, spanning from September to mid-June. These young singers come together with a variety of vocal strengths, musical backgrounds, and personalities. The ACC encourages them to be prepared for each rehearsal, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone can learn and contribute to their own and each other's musical development.

Beyond enriching the Arlington community with their music, the ACC offers exceptional performance opportunities for its choristers. This includes participating in an annual retreat and performing at prestigious venues like the Kennedy Center and the Willard Hotel. They may even get the chance to collaborate with renowned conductors and symphony orchestras!
